upyerBrum uses Magpie RSS for caching feeds, some vector illustration from bittbox and a heavily modified CSS from the Web 2.0 Generator. Oh, and of course the feeds/APIs of the various sites.
The /popular section is based on Pligg.

How come I cant see any photos on this website?

Hi Paul, are you struggling to see images like buttons? Or is it the photos that are submitted from flickr etc that you can’t see?
In the case of the flickr pic they don’t appear on the site - apart from those on the main upyerbrum.com homepage - on the story pages you should click on the ‘original news’ link below the photo’s title to get to the flickr page.

You have a problem with quotation marks on your RSS feed that needs fixing (You could throw in a contact email somewhere as well so I wouldn’t have to leave this as a comment)
